A group of twenty colour photographs documenting Chinese diplomat, scholar and calligrapher Yuan Xiaoyuan (1901–2003) during visits to the Nanjing Zheng He Memorial and related sites in the 1990s. The set forms a compact visual record of a significant twentieth-century cultural figure and a local maritime-history institution.
